HOME on the Central Coast ran a fundraising BBQ at Masters, Riverside Park at West Gosford on 31 May 2015, selling a lot of snags and raising awareness of the need for permanent homes for people with enduring mental illness on the Central Coast. We ended up raising $400 towards our work. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered on the day and helped make this event happen at short notice.
HOME on the Central Coast met with various Members of Parliament prior to the NSW State Election in March 2015 to secure a commitment to making unused government land available for use to build supported permanent accommodation. Our Business Plan was well received, with a commitment made by MP Karen MacNamara to support the vision of HOME on the Central Coast.
